Ok so here it is i have been running my blueline 100 for about a month now.
When i posted pictures of my setup someone pointed out that due to the fact i was running a 2high purflow mechanical filter my BL would quickly become obsolete when the psi would reach 5 in the canfilter. sure enough when it hit a bout 8 psi my flow went from 1500g/h to about 1000g/h.
So after searching the forum and the net i decided i would invest in a Hammerhead gold from Reeflo. Big shout out to Chris the owner of Reeflo who made it very easy to become a HH owner ( being in montreal, canada they are not easy to get.)
So here is the problem im facing now.
the fittings on the HH are 1.5inches the fitting on my BL are 1 inche that means i will have to glue my new fittings .
The glue is apparently toxic for 24 hours.
My tank is fully stocked and i doubt i can leave the fishes without filtration for much more then a few hours also i dont want to kill the BB
Has anyone ever been in such situation?
what are your advice/recomendation ?
