My 24 inch channa marulius has not been eating for almost 2 WEEKS. he was feeding regularly on 3 to 4 pieces of market fish 5 days a week. I tried giving him 2 small platies and hes not eaten them. the water is fine ph is 7, but the monsoons have started and the weather is a little cooler.

I've had a C gachua male go into hiding for 6 months (Still don't know the reason to this day as to why??????) during which time I only saw him once. He ate NOTHING during the whole time, and after emerging never looked any worse for wear! Snakeheads are amazingly robust creatures so don't worry, he'll eat when HE'S ready... You were probably feeding too much anyway. The temperature drop you mentioned probably has something to do with it.
I hope so, Nope no lights, I got him some feeder gold fish , they are happy and alive . I really hope his appetite recovers I had him since he was 3 inches and now hes over 2 freet long. Im checking the ph and also got a heater for him.

id stay away from feeders unless you had quarantined them for a good 2 or 3 weeks thats how you probably got the poroblem in the beginning, hope everything goes ok.
The infection is over I just did a water change added quarter of the recommended dose of anti parasite hes back to normal eating market fish again
