Help common pleco

I have a 20g tank and I have a pleco, pet store said it wouldn't get any bigger than 6 inches he is now about a foot long. I cant get a bigger tank someone help please....

Post in the marketplace and local fish club on fb. Make sure it’s free to better ur chances. I’m sure someone will take it off ur hands.

Just take it to a fish store

Plecos do go to the top to gulp air. But being that big in a 20. He's cramped. They can reach up to 2ft.

Go down to the local bulk store and buy a 55g plastic tub and set that up as a temporary holding tank. Are you doing massive daily water changes with treated waster?
