Hey MFK I just picked up these three little guys as a bridora cichlid. I dont even know if I spelled it right. All I know from what I was told that they are pretty rare in the trade and they from the Veja family. I went in for Veja's but I saw these guys and the store owner told me it was a bridora cichlid. I never heard of these cichlids and I was wondering if anyone here has? I saw a bigger ones in the show tank and the owner told me he had a new batch from the same parents. I just want to know what these guys are. The pictures of the larger ones are the ones from the show tank and the smaller ones I took after I dropped them in a grow out tank. Sorry for the dark pics my lights on the tank went out and I was using the room light to take the pics. Thanks a lot ya'll!!!

Yes, they do appear to be Paraneetroplus breidhori, but because the genus is in flux can also be found as Vieja, and Paratherps breidhori.

Congrats on your new fish. They love clean water and food ! With those two you will notice that they will give you 100 % entertainment :) They can be quite the little clowns when settled in and they do not ever know when to stop eating !
