I got two of what I think are hujetas but they were labeled as african pikes. How do I tell the difference? What size do they get(both of them)? Any comments on them?

just type in ctenolucias hujeta into google images, then type in hepsetus odoe.

Odoe's are bulkier with different faces, teeth, and a bit more colour.

yeah, do what he said.

both are nice fish to have. The odoe will grow into a larger, heavier, nastier fish ... I think they are cooler looking. The Hujeta is smaller, thinner, less attitude. The Odoe looks more "sinister" lurking around a tank.

The odoe is a silvery fish with the obvious teeth showing. Also, it gets alot larger. I kinda like the odoe better. I've been looking for one for a while but.....
