Here´s a thing that is really strating to bug me and for wich I dont really know what to do:confused: I keep my Igs in large steal and plastic cages. They were ment for breeding small tropical birds but I totaly remodeled them to meet the igs needs. They mesure about 8 foot long by 7 high and 6 foot deep. They have been working great so far but the problem is that the metalic mesh of the sides is begining to get rusty. Ive been keeping it at sheck by putting plastic mesh over it but is geting hard to do and some places are praticly unasesible. Stupid cages, that thing was supose to be stainless:irked: Im I being to picky? My parents say its nothing but Im worried because iguanas constantly tongue flick and climbing. Can they be negatively afected by it? Should i simply get rid of the cages and make some new dy? Any coments are wellcome:confused:

It shouldnt be an issue, but what you can do is you can take the igs out for 24 hrs and repaint it and let it air dry.

Yeah you can just repaint it. Wipe it down first with some lemon juice, it helps to remove some of the rust and won't hurt your animals.

Cool dint know that thing existed:D Thanks guys. But anyways Im felling dy so I think Im going to build what you can call a "iguanarium" so that they can free roam when Im not at home;)
