Help! Cracked emp. 400

:nilly:I tried silicone, DAP 50 yr. clear.ASTM C-920 It did'nt stick at all. Tried Gorilla glue, it says 100% waterproof but it leaks. The break is right where it hangs on the tank. This filter is like new, I traded a python for it. It got broke in shipping. I would really like to get it fixed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
I had a similar experience, hairline crack though. I used a plastic epoxy and only sealed it from the outside.
 
That Sucks, But There Is Only So Much you Can Do, What Size Tank Is It. I Personly Would Not Take The Risk Of It Leeking Out While I Was Not Home If You Did Fix It. But what Dont Suck Is Petsmart Will Price Match. So What I reccomend Is Find The Emp.400 online some were cheap(check petsmart.com as well) Print It Off And Bring It In They Will Not Have A Problem doing It All. good luck and glad to help ya....
 
Thanks, I don't have a reciept. What I'm getting at I guess is why won't nothing stick to the plastic? I even cleaned it with lighter fluid and roughed it up with sandpaper. Silicone sticks to Everything!
