attemptin to be japanese , wanna try crs :D
r they gonna breed in a 3gal?
the setup i have right now is a 3gal curved glass 12" l x 7"w x9" h
light is a 14w clip-on PC that i bought in china called Eco-Light... the problem is, i dunno if its really 14w since this is actually a 220v fixture but i plugged it into a 110v American outlet:screwy: so does that mean its not really 14w of light??
right now i have normal sand and a piece of driftwood w/ micro sword tied on there ( the microsword arent doing so well, noticed half of what i bought is left.... )
filter is a aquaclear 50 ... 66gph- 200gph... i turned it all the way down so its 66 which is still 22xturnover for a lil 3gal x_x is that too much? i added a sponge thingy on the intake so shrimps wont get sucked in...
right now i have 4 ghost shrimp... ( if i go crs, imma take these out)
im planning on adding riccia and xmas moss...
but im worried if i got enuf lighting... should i upgrade to the 9" coralife miniaqualight ?? should i downgrade on the filter?? do i have to switch to the expensive plant substrate?
i dont want to have co2 setup though cuz thats a lil too complicated ...
any suggestion / advice r appreciated:)

What is your pH? CRS (crystal red shrimp) like soft water. They also prefer cooler temps (low 70's).

my ph is at 7 rite now but if thats not rite i can always adjust it .... and temp is not a problem since i can just turn down the heater....
im worried mostly about the environment that crs need, not about the water... like moss n water flow n lighting

As long as you have soft water and cooler temps, they are not particular about the plants you choose. A cycled tank is a necessity as they do not tolerate swings in ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate over 20.

alrite that sounds cool :D

well i guess i CAN get shrimps ...

to make it better though i still would love to have xmas moss taiwan moss riccia , do i have to upgrade light for those?

never mind about the light.... i fixed it by adding a converter, its now a lot brighter at a full 14w .... 6700k .... in a 9" deep tank...that should be plenty enough for moss right???
my other concern is water flow.... is 66gph actually too much for a lil 3gal tank??
