i recently added 3 silver dollars(3in) and an oscar to my j.d./pleco 65 gal tank. the oscar(4in) is about an inch bigger then the jack(3in) ! all seemed to be fine until latly... i noticed the oscar had a few scars on him! so i sat there and watched and watched and sure enough the jack dempsey was bein the bully! however the jack seems to fine wit the silver dollars. now im pondering weather to take the oscar and silvers out, and go wit jus 2 or 3 jacks and the pleco????? would that be reasonable??? thanks!

Is the tank intended as a growout? The oscar alone should have at least a 75-90g tank as an adult. 65g would suffice for 1 jack dempsey but I don't think a 65g would support 2-3 jacks plus a pleco for life. And what pleco species?? I understand the fish are juvies, just want to be sure that you're aware of their adult requirements.
That said, I'd try rearranging the tank and give it a couple days. There can sometimes be problems when introducing new fish to a tank where another fish has already established territories, but they may work it out themselves.

if you cant get a larger tank soon, i would find another home for the oscar. keep in mind, those silver dollars also get large.
yea dude the oscar will be to big for the 65....3 jacks dempsey would also be to big.....I would keep the silver dollars and the pleco...keep the jack dempsey(such a cool fish)...and buy a male convict and a male firemouth or a jewel cichlid..so this is how your setup could be...this would look hella cool IMO..its kinda to the point of overstocking but just make sure you have a big filtration...good luck

on second thought I would lose the 3 sliver dollars cause they do get huge....and replace them with maybe 6 tiger barbs and 6 giant danios....
if you put the oscar and 3 silver dollars in the 65 that is waaaay more than enough! and dont feed the oscar feeders-
