He was just in the corner and lower half seem to be missing some slime. Looks like fin rot but not sure! So far i placed him in a quarantine tank with heat raised to 85, added melafix. Any idea what else I need to do with the poor guy?

+1 that's a del and your water params are off if hes shedding slimecoat. I'm placing money on ammonia levels.
What kind of money we are talking about ? Lol
BTW do you have any ornaments in tank with sharp edges ?
I'd start by checking and rechecking your main tanks params, WC's small and frequent until those are normal, and in the mean time I'd add some salt, stress coat, and maybe a little methylene blue to the hospital tank.
lol place you wager mang! I've rarely seen slime coats shed from much else than bad water. granted he could have some type of infection but I'd st ill bet W. Q. first.
