Help we are (were) about to migrate our fish to our new setup. Our overflow box on our top 125g aquarium Eshopps PF1200 is leaking. It appears to be leaking at the bottom corner by the seam. Problem is we do not have the time to return / order a new unit. Is it possible to fix with an epoxy of some sort? At first I thought it was the bulkhead but we pulled it all appart and bench tested it. We are 99.99 percent sure its the corner seam but i don't see a crack.

HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP

How bad is the leak? If its just a trickle, I'd drain it, smear some silicone on it, wait 6 or 8 hours and fill it again. I know its acrylic, but its the quickest and easiest thing. If that doesn't work I'd pick up some weld-on and try that.

I've had good luck *spot* patching small leaks in both acrylic and glass with 100% silicone.

Its a steady drip, I wasn't sure silicone would bind to acrylic I'll give that a try first.

It won't bind like it does to glass, but it will stick.

Drip, not a stream, thats good. I'd try to silicone it first, and if that fails you're going to need some weld-on and a syringe.

go to an local acrylic/plastic shop and buy a small tube of weld-on 16 and ask them for a small scrap piece of acrylic and patch it that way. it will be permanent.
