Help everyone! Need advice

Hello all
About 3 months ago I got 2 Rays a Jardini a Asian knife fish and to very large tin foil barbs for my 1000 l tank (I know in near future I need bigger). Here is me problem my Jar only ever eats what he wants when he wants then changes his mind and stops eating that so I have to try new things also he is so aggressive with all the other fish.

So the question is I am thinking of looking for a pellet eating silver Arrowana. Am finding this hard I do love him and would find him a very good home just he causes so much stress.


All this And he is only 10"

So what do you all think? What would you all do because I am really torn between my heart and my head

Choice is easy loose the jar or loose other fish you have in the tank with him. You may try to house him separately in a different tank, there are those that have mixed larger jardini into communities without incident

Yeah either keep him in his own tank or get a silver or black instead.

Right after a lot of heart and head stuff i have borrowed a tank for him i will get him on pellets over next few weeks.

I have ordered a new 8 x 2 x 2 tank for just him and plants (not even he can kill them)

Should he be ok in planted tank? Any ideas on getting him to eat pellets?
