Hi, so I have a baby jardini he is about 4 inches long. I did not feed him anything at all yesterday. And today I tried to give him some pellets but he would not take them. I gave frozen blood worms and he was all over it, also i toss in 2 crickets and he only ate one. How can I go about training him to eating pellets? And at this age should I just stick with bloodworms? Thanks.

the Hiraki gold, also is it normal for him to swim around the lower and mid level, he does not swim at the top and he only gets his food when its in the middle level of the tank not the top.

try feeding him hikari food sticks and after awhile throw some pellets in with the sticks. THis is what i did with my silver and now he eats the pellets equally to how much sticks he eats

Okay, I see thanks alot, in your opinion do you think the sticks are better or the pellets?

If you had to pick one, the aro sticks would probably be better for your arowana. I feed mine a mix of aro sticks, cichlid gold, bio gold +, and fd krill. I'll treat them to market shrimp every few days as well.

Perfect thanks, for the market shrimp do you know where I can get them? like can you get them at like your local grocery store?

you should feed aro sticks they just gobble them up at any size. my jar that size devours 3 of those sticks and he's fat and sassy

O wow nice man, and ur aro, he didnt have a problem excepting them? did you have to starve it?
