Help feeding my Kribs.

I have just bought 2 kribs and i am struggling to feed them.
I have flake and brine shrimp. The fish are constantly hiding
until i can get some dithers. They wont come to the surface
for food so how do i feed them?

Kribs are not know as a surface feeding fish, though they will occasionally feed from the surface. Try bloodworms/blackworms.

try tetra prima, it sinks slowly and if they dont come up then they will eventually get some. they may also need some dithers like small barbs or tetras to give them more confidence. they should come out with dithers in the tank.

use a turkey baster or syringe to get the food down to the kribs

the pellets are also a lot cleaner than flake and its easier to judge how much is needed.
tetra prima is cheap on ebay at about £7.25 (free postage) for 300g but if you buy in the shops 300g is about £20+. its just repackaged (in resealable bags) and they use bulk orders of tetra diskus (prima's EU name) and split it up.
