Nths wrong with it. Its just getting ready to lay eggs and females do that whether there is a male or not in the tank.

+1 and at 9.5 inches the tube will be a good deal bigger yet before laying than it is now. I have females that look the way yours does about 2/3 rds of the time, these are the same females that will spawn with just about anything that swims in the tank with them.
i only have a blood parrot near its tank ... and the BP is also only 3" .... should i try to find a male ???
