im have soon fish problems. i did a like a 45% water change on my 75 gallon yesterday and all my fish are gulping the water now. then where fine before the water change but not after. test the amonia and its 0. i would test the others but i dont have a test kit. t Does anyone know whats wrong? here is a vid attacked so you can see what im talking about, well i cant figure out how to upload a vid. when i find out ill do it

Dids you add conditioner to eliminate the chlorine? Do you know the temp. of the water you added? Is your filter still running, it may not have reprimed if you shut it off.

i did add conditioner, should i add more i only put as much in for the water i took out. i new the temp it was a little cold them i turned on the heater and it got really hot but its good now. and yes the filter is running. i also thought i should add the fish are eating

Do you usually do water changes that large? The reason I ask is if you usually do 10-20% and then suddenly do a 45% that may screw the fish up a bit.

well i usally like 20 but i made a python kind of thing and the water was brownish from the driftwood i got so i did a bigger water change. so do you think the fish should be fine

That is weird, i never saw fish do that before, all of them are doing it. I dont know, give this thread a bump in a few minutes to get some more opinions.

I don't really have an answer for you, all I know is when I went from doing about a 30% water change on my O's tanks to a 75%water change every 2 weeks they started doing that too. They come out of it in a little while (like 2 or 3 hours) but since I have changed their routine to a larger water change they have gotten used to it.

ok so you think it may just be from the large water change and they are not used to it
