I purcahased a 10in. male synspilum a month ago from rapps. Heres the story, received fish healthy, after 2 days he began to eat, about 5 days later lost all color and layed on its side in the corner, had kind of a gray color/slime, very lethargic, this lasted about 2 1/2 weeks, never ate a bit. I treated with heat 84deg., salt, and an ich med and fungus med.. Last week he colored up , began swimming and eating a ton!!! I thought I was out of the woods. He is still swimming eating and begging for food, but now has several white cists on variuos body parts, I think its a fungus?? also his fins are very ragged almost like they deteriorated?/ Fin rot?? All the other fish are fine in the tank and water paramaters are fine. I do 2 30% water changes weekly??? any ideas suggestions??
