Hello,

I know it has been a very long time since I've registered and started asking questions, but I have at least one more.

I am having some real problems choosing what type/kind of fish I should put in my 75 gallon tank. I keep it in my room, and well...I've gone through P. Senegalus fish to Goldfish and Dojo Loaches, but all of which died...and to be honest, they didn't really capture my interest much to begin with.

I wanted to ask you all, what would be a good fish to have in a 75 gallon. Predatory would be ideal mainly because my mother is always trying to get rid of her guppies, because they are forever breeding in her tank, and it's just a 10 gallon.

I would love suggestions, and pictures would be greatly appreciated also.

Thank you so much,
Shane

Maybe just guppies untill you can keep fairly hardy fish alive?

Not sure how/why your fish died, but preditory fish are generaly more than a novice keeper can safely keep.

A betta is a great way to controll guppy fry, but with a 10 gallon you'll be overstocked with more than 4 guppies and a betta.

Well,
They all died due to that horrible mystery death type scenario...you know, you just wake up one morning and go to the tank and see the either nothings moving, or everythings floating. You check the water perimeters once you take em' out, and everythings fine. This tank has been set up for a little shorter than a year now, and it's right where it needed to be.
I also understand what kind of care and dedication a fish like one I want may take and am willing to do so.

Yeah, thats pretty much the reason why my mother wants me to get the predatory fish also, to take care of her guppy problem. She's giving me feeders that shes raised herself basically.

Thanks,
Shane
