I woke up this morning and i noticed that one of my FL gars, has a swollen redish eye. I've never seen this case before in my gars. Is it an infection, or just and injury, they were abit rough while feeding yesterday. I believe gars are sensitive to meds? Please help.

I have never encountered this happening with any of my gars but to be on the safe side I would increase the water changes (frequency) and bump up the water temp and if possible put the gar in a hospital tank.

he's still feeding well, but i can tell he cant see so clearly with his other eye, 20% WC every 2nd day temp is at 84.2 fh, hopefully all goes well.

just add salt and increase the frequency of water changes..i think you should make 50 percent water changes every other day..since u live in AD temps are already high.. i never used a heater in any of my tanks..it might have got hit by your other gar during feeding. feed them every day or even twice a day because they are really small...good luck with your gar
