hi guys my 3.5 inch long short body flowerhorn is suffering from hexa (it seems so) it hasnt eaten in 7-8 days , is weak & has white poo daily . i increased the temp to 32C , i have given him anti-parasite medicine & from yesterday i have been treating him with metrodynile which is recommended.also m doing daily water change of 50% with anti-chorine , anti ich , anti fungus etc.
he is housed in a tank with partition giving him 1.5 feet of space, i have set up a hospital tank (2.5x1x1.5 feet)
today but as its new i dunno if i should move it dere although i have added nitrifying bacteria solution in it & running filter of old tank in it.

please help as its still weak  & not eating at all although it is quite active & aggressive even now. will be posting pics soon.

Him being active and aggressive is a good sign.
How many different chemicals are you running through your water right now?
Metro is your best weapon against Hex. If you putting in anti ich, and anti fungus meds you are only putting more stress on the fish.
He should be in his own quaritine that is totally cycled and an established filter. Water should be 84 degrees and the only addative in the water should be metro/ salt/ and fed with metro foods. Water prime if needed. 50% daily is a bit much as well, Do 25% daily.

Just to point out that if you are running a mature filter on the hospital tank, which you seem to be, then it is ready for the fish. It is the filter that needs to be mature, and colonised with the right bacteria, not necessarily the tank itself.

Good luck with the fish. Seems like good advice from the others too !

if u read rd's post.
u may want epsom salt. it's [magnesium sulphate mgso4] available in fertilizer shops for rs 12/ kg in india. all shops deal with it. it is available in two types. one is large crystals another is like salt with small crystals. buy the smaller crystal, it's very effective and soluble
