I have a 55 gallon tank with a Jag, Red Devil, Jack Dempsey, Pleco, and Raphael.

I dont know why, but for some reason they (the Jag, Red Devil, and Jack Dempsey) all have clamped fins and are showing dark colors. I noticed this yesterday as well, and so I did a 30% water change. Also, the Red Devil was having some air-blatter problems that usually the Jack gets (sucks in air w/ food, I think...). I looked today, and they were exactly the same as yesterday. As I said before, I dont know why this is happening or really how to fix it. Any opinions/ advice????

Did you check the waterer paramaters? Closed fins usually are due to poor water quality (sometimes birth defect...) could be ammonia, nitrates, ph or general hardness... so make sure you do a full water chemistry check up... and I don't know how big your fish currently are but that tank isn't big enough for that stock for life... Their all pretty messy large fish so I hope you have really good filtration. You might wanna try some live floating plants to keep the nitrates down and weekly water changes or maybe even twice a week of about 20%

My water parameters are all good. pH is normal- 6.5, ammonia is low because i tested after the change in water... (i know stupid), same with nitrates and nitrites (though all are usually at or below normal stats) and i do routine water changes of about 20- 30% every two weeks. I know that the tank is small, and I am getting a 150 gallon tank set up now (just bought a week ago).

This is actually very sudden. I noticed it only yesterday, and was hoping that the early water change would help. They have never all done this before.

:smurf every two weeks? you should be doin them bi-weekly or atleast once a week for an overstocked tank.

Up the water changes, cut back on feeding till the big tank is going.
