Helo again all!

So I got a gulper about 3 weeks ago. Happiest fish purchase I ever made. His first week in I was a little scared if him not eating so i resorted to feeders. I bought a dozen 2-3" goldfish that took him up until now to finish. So now the tank is empty with just the little gulper inside, what I want to know is how do i get it to eat frozen prepared foods now? I have tilapia fillets, shrimps, and silver sides available along with massivore. How should i go about it?

Try starve him onto frozen foods , if he's eaten recently it might take a while as itll ignore frozen foods waiting for another feeder fish to come along but it won't starve to death catfish can last a long time without feeding , what size is the gulper ?

Its about 3.5/4" now. It ate the last feeder yesterday. I guess i should try feeding tomorrow?

Try leaving it a couple of days and see if you can tempt him into eating frozen

Give him up to a week of not eating, I'd start with white fish and wave it around him to simulate movement. He'll come around eventually.

Oki, thanks guys! So I'll wait till later this week to feed. If i should dangle something to simulate movement though, would the silver side maybe be better than since it's a whole fish?

That would be fine and more likely to be taken most likely. I just meant nothing weird, some people feed the craziest stuff lol.

That's a step in the right direction. He's curious enough to try but not hungry enough to eat.
