may disagree but I would be concerned that this could be bagarius bagarius (round eyes, colouring, curved dorsal fin). If that was the case 27 to 28 would be too high.
either way, goonch require highly oxygenated water with a really good flow and cover to hide under/between/behind. Are you set up for the needs of the fish?
vomiting generally is not normal but could be that the fish ingested too much sand trying to get pellets off the bottom?
How big is the fish, how long have you had it, how long had the tank been set up and running. Ph?
How often is it feeding, how much?
Does it appear to be breathing heavily?
