Good day MFK. I would like to ask what type of goonch(bagarius) is this? And is it normal for a goonch to vomit few hours after feeding, if not what are the possible cause? Water parameters are ok temperature around 27-28 celcius and food is massivore.

C Chicxulub may disagree but I would be concerned that this could be bagarius bagarius (round eyes, colouring, curved dorsal fin). If that was the case 27 to 28 would be too high.
either way, goonch require highly oxygenated water with a really good flow and cover to hide under/between/behind. Are you set up for the needs of the fish?
vomiting generally is not normal but could be that the fish ingested too much sand trying to get pellets off the bottom?
How big is the fish, how long have you had it, how long had the tank been set up and running. Ph?
How often is it feeding, how much?
Does it appear to be breathing heavily?

Thanks for the ID. My current setup has a good flow rate as im using 2 8k gph pump and a gyre wavemaker each both sides. I dont have any cover or hideout as my current setup. PH is 8 and this fish is with me for a week and is feeding every other day with pellets size is around 14 inches. Yesterday I noticed it is breathing heavily while vomiting but today no signs of heavy breathing and I think is hungry because when I drop pellet for my arowana he move looking for food.

I'd say he picked up bit to much sand an just realised oh no that's gotta come back up that's what they do an this goonch catfish write if so they will git what ever they can that just about fits in there mouth really eat any thing and if it can't injest it they will spit it back up simple as that hope that helps
