Help, green Texas suffering

So I've noticed these weird flesh like wounds on my green Texas back end towards the fin. I put him in my 10 gallon hospital tank with aquarium salt and Melafix for about a week now and it looks worse. Any ideas on what it is and how to treat? It's on both sides and moved up to one of his fins

What's the ph and hardness of the tank water?

It looks like furunculosis.

If you don't have a way to test any of those, I would start with one of the following:

API Furan-2

or

Tetra Fungus Guard (Petsmart avail)

or

Jungle Fungus Clear (Walmart avail)

in addition to the above-mentioned meds I would also do a methylene blue dip and add salt to the tank.
