1 dragon fin

It has been a week since I purchased him and he still won't eat... he just goes close to the MP but ignores it. The shop fed him before I purchased him so I know he eats. but ever since he came home with me... he wouldn't eat anything. He'd play around with the other tank mates and try to catch them though, he's still active but i'm worried that he might become weaker if he continues not to eat.

Give it time he'll eat , some aros take a while settling in due to stress etc but it won't starve to death before eating , what foods have you tried so far ?

Also what is the temp and pH of your water. Was/is it much than the water at the LFS?

give him time. My didn't eat for 2 weeks when i first got it. He was imported from germany and was in a lot of strees. After that he eat like machine :)
Arowana must atart to trust you and everything will be fine.

yea, give it some time to settle down like the others say,but i feel your pain buddy, currently training my jardini on pellets and its been 8 days..gl bro

What did the store feed him? I would try the same food. I found crickets always seem to work, that's if you want to try live foods, and Hikari food sticks also seems to do the trick, but as was said before, give him some time....

Try to give it sometime and offer food to it everyday, if it still won't eat, try feeding it food with strong smell: Hikari Carnistick, Massivore pellets, nightcrawlers, Market prawns, etc. If it still doesn't eat, feed it guppies or other live food, just never feed it feeder GOLDFISH. Hope this helped. :)

Try fancy guppies...slow but active. Also, try feeding in low light.
