my peacock bass mono has developed some kind of red/bloody looking dots on its top fin, anyone ever seen this? or know of any helpful info? anything would help...ill try and get a pic up as soon as i can. thanks guys...

Like where the normal dots are on the dorsal fin or ?

grr i wish i knew which fin was named what. its the fin on top, like not towards the tail. the high fin on top. its a red/bloody looking dot. real small but noticeable...

you mean dorsal fin right?, it sounds like regualr coloration imo

yea i feel the same way XR but i dont recall seeing any monoculus with red spots like that on their 'dorsal fin'...

I would honestly raise temp and treat with meds or some salt unless you can provide a pic

try salt higher temp and maybe some internal parasite meds!
