got 2 peacock bass we made the mistake of trying to pellet train it immediately after it arrived so maybe the stress from being shipped and a week wihtout feeding infected it with ich but its ok there are not so many spots anymore i think we are at the last stages of treatment the prob is due to them getting ich my husband thought we better go live fish feeding so we are now feeding them molly and swordtail fries 4day to 10 day old fries the prob now is this we planned to only feed them 8 fishes twice a day for both when my husband drops the feeders since there is 2 some times the bigger one gets 6 and the smaller gets 2 or sometimes its the other way around sometimes the smaller gets 7 and the bigger only 1 so in this situation we cant help but drop more and we often end up feeding them 20-24 fishes we are kind of worried we are over feeding them they are both slightly bigger than 3 inches one is a bit bigger than the other the fries we feed them range in sizes of maybe .5 inches to a bit bigger and some smaller what do you think guys think are over feeding are we overfeeding them our schedule for feeding them is 7am and 11pm at night

it depends on the size of the fish you are throwing in there.

when i feed my fish
i through in like a ton of feeder fish and wait... the fish eat and then when they are tired of chasing after the fish i net all the feeders out.

(usually my fish stick to eating around 7 and then they are done)

hope this helps

(research research research)

i feed them fishes ranging from new born to half an inch and now they finish of 35 fishes during night time meal and 10 fishes on morning meals im really confused i mean the 35 fishes dont even last 2 minutes i swear and after they are gone they get back to the front of the tank and start waving their tails like they are begging for more im really shocked at how much they can eat they eat more than my wolf fish use to est when he was 3" am i doing this right or are overfeeding

can you post a video?

it can help make us see what is going on...

thanks :)
