Ok so i was doing my water change today any way i got about half way through and taken in about 3 mouth fulls of dirty tank water :barf: i noticed little white slug like things about 2mm on the glass about 300 of them.... so i immediatly started trying to suck them of with the syphon
my fish dont seem to be harmed by them and they havent been there that long i would have noticed.... any way having eating about 50 of these things.... WHAT ARE THEY??? any info on them will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks howard

also there are still some on the glass... so...

sounds like dirty water grew some parasites of some sort... add some like disease killer or sumthing. more water changes freequently.

Most likely planaria worms. <-- do a search on those.

I doubt they will harm you.. Either way invest in a python so you can quit drinking tankwater. :screwy:

i searched on them aparently they come from uneaten food,,,, sounds likely seens though my jags are not 100% to eat them as shane can tell you..

so how do i treat for planaria worms??

You don't. Step up the gravel vaccuming and they'll go away. They're really not an issue. They just remind you to clean your tank more often. I used to get them in my oscar tank, as everyone knows how messy they are.

ok cool thanks for the tip i done a 35% water change today and will do another 35% on saturday and another monday and see how it goes.
