How should I transport a six inch oscar and two four inch tinfoil barbs? My original idea was to use an 18 gallon rubbermaid container with portable air pumps, but that's WAY too heavy. Even a five gallon bucket is too heavy for me (filled with water, it's roughly 1/3 of my body weight). None of my guy friends are available to help today, otherwise it wouldn't be a problem. The guy said his preference would be for the fish to come in bags, however, I don't know where to get any bags that would be appropriate.

What would you suggest for someone small and girly? lol.

And omgeez I :hearts:the new layout.

They're working/ away on spring break. One offered to help last night, but I'm pretty sure he's drunk right now. Yes, and 12 in the afternoon. He thinks he's punk rock.:screwy:

where in SoCal are you? I lift totes full of water and water and 5 gallon buckets all the time:)

What? So you can see my horrible, messy home?:nilly: Actually, I'm in Elsinore. Almost no one knows where that is.

If you can get a cart you could put the buckets on a cart to wheel them around. I moved 2 8 inch oscars, 3 7inch flowerhorns + 2 loaches in buckets. You don't need to fill them all the way up. Maybe half full or just enough to cover the fish. If you have to get multiple buckets and move them 1 at a time.

OH, but I should say, I was more concerned with where I could get the bags. Would they be ok? They'll be in them for an hour or two tops.

Sounds workable, if I could figure a way to get them in and out of the car. My car is pretty small, too. 89 toyota corolla.

Yeah, telekinesis is convenient, but it isn't as much fun.:grinno:

Bllib, that seems like an idea, similar to one I had. I'm heading out, if the mission fails, I'll be back here.
