I have a pin size leak that coming from the hose to the Eheim disconnect valve nipple. It's a very small leak that is likea small drip. My uncle said over time the calcium deposit from the water will seal the leak. I'm a person that like to do things right hte first time. Is this normal on Eheim filter? Should I contact Eheim to get a new disconnect valve?

take off the clamp, readjust the hose and retighten the clamp back on.

that area your showing is a very weak part of ehiem filters... my very own valve connector leaked this way and it cracked.. i tried to glue it with industrial glue.. but sadly.. it didnt work...

You can try using epoxy glue available in home depot.. if not.. you might have to replace that part for $35 bucks..

Is the pin hole leak on the plastic part of the connector?

I tried that 10x already. I have two other Eheim Pro II and zero issues with them.

The leak is coming from the connector. I could see small drip of water coming out of the hose. I've tried a light coat of plumbing tape but it didn't help resolve the issue. I'm going to HomeDepot later to see what kind of sealant I can find. It leaks less than 1 cup of water in 10hrs of use.

do you guys know what is the link to contact Eheim by email?

eheimusa.com i think...

I can say tho.. they wont do free replacement..... about the only thing they will tell you is to replace it..

I personally would just try epoxy if the leak isn't too big...

DUCT TAPE!!!!! and silicone underneath it

After two days of drip leak the leak just stopped by itself.:D
