help how many gallons ?

so i bought a fish tank but i need to figure out how many gallon it can hold the measurements are ......


48 inc long - 21 inc tall - 12 1/2 inc wide

its a standard 55. It holds a bit less than 55 gallons though because the internal dimensions are slightly less than the outer dimensions (because of glass thickness)
