Quarantine Tank
Just bought a condo and im rethinking my 360g on my second floor. I just came across this Craigslist post and was wondering what people would pay for this...

225 SHOW TANK - Complete - comes with a beautiful lacquer canopy and stand. Acrylic tank with corner overflow, 2 velocity pumps, 40 gallon sump, 4 brand new ice cap fans etc. This setup would cost you 6k however i'm selling it for a fraction of that price. Asking ****!

The acrylic is 1 inch thick. The dimensions are 72 inches long by 24 inches wide and 30 inches tall.

I will post what he is asking after a couple of people reply....

1k would be AWESOME!!! But 1800.00 would be A steal with the goodies too.. Tank looks to be in Pristine condition!!

And equipment ... Well everything there looks good :) I would Make an offer on the phone and see what they said..

have like 5 of your friends call every 4 hours, and have them offer a low price. than you call the next day and tell them the price you would pay. you will probably end up getting it. thats what i do, when i find a nice car. i can bump it down like 5 grand that way.

Here in Socal we see tanks like this from time to time. Prices range from 900.00 to 3000.00. With the included equipment 1500.00 would be a real deal.

I would pay $2500 - $3500 in Colorado for a setup like that, we don't get good deals on large tanks.

why are you rethinking the bigger tank on the 2nd floor??

I would probably pay $1500. It's probably worth more than that, since it's kind of a "high end" setup, but I'm not really into high end setups, I'd rather buy a regular 225, DIY a stand and filter, and call it a day rather than spend the $$$ for that rig. But it is nice, and the 1" acrylic is nice.

Also with milkman re: getting the price down, works like a charm...probably easier on a tank than on something like a car that would have more people calling on it.

I think it's worth about 1k or so.. Nice setup if what you want to keep will fit in there..

I paid 2500 for mine same dimensions in glass (oceanic) but mine came with 200# of live rock lights etc.... so I would say arround 2-3 Gs is a good price
