how long does it take the young to hatch and reach 1 inch and how do u get a male and female to pair off and how long till i can separate the babies and they live because i want to breed em as fast as possible and i want the babys to live.

Pairing off is done by the fish. If you have a main tank with a bunch of cons in it and put some nesting sites in it. You'll see the pairs really fast as the pair will keep everything away from their site.
Grab that pair and move them to another tank. And wait till you find another pair. As for babies, You can yank them as soon as they're swimming. That will let your cons start another batch. Put the fry in a grow out tank with a sponge filter and feed them finely crushed flake food. Drop the flak near the sponge so it gets stuck to the sponge. The fry will pick at the sponge.
As far as reaching one inch. I have no idea.

Just started breeding them myself. Regurgitated some of the stuff I've read in the last two weeks.
now i understand why every fish store everywhere has alot of them and one last question how old are they when they start to breed?
mine are just bigger than an inch and they are breeding. i am sure they start earlier than that as well.
I use to breed convicts awhile back...In my experience basically you get a male and female let them settle in a tank a week later do a 30-50% water change and boom babies!!!lol...
