Help I.d. Catfish???

This synodontis was labeled as a synodontis decorous at my lfs, and I bought one because I knew it def wasn't a decorous and a synodontis I've never seen before... Anyone know what type it is? Guessing some kind of hybrid

we need a better pic. it could be a synodontis angelicus or a synodontis brichardi...?
 
Sorry i know nothing aabout african cats, but thats a very cool looking catfish.
 
Hmmm I have never seen a brichardi in person before but this can't be a brichardi unless they lose the markings on their head as they mature... It's hard to get a good pic tho... His head markings are like that of a leopard pleco... Idk weird never saw a syno like this
 
Hey thanks man that is without a doubt a correct I.D. Does anyone know their value? My lfs has them at $11.50 each, should I be buying the whole lot of them? I'm def gonna get at least 2 more I love how they look when bigger... Btw they are about 1" right now
 
I have been reading about ornate synos, and this one may be hybrid... Apparently there are hybrids made to look like them... Either way it's coolest syno I own, and usually the hybrid ones retain their color with aging... I'll just have to wait till he gets bigger
