well considering you didnt even put what kind of knifefish it is...

the "usual suspects" at most LFS are...


african knife fish (also called african brown knifefish) get like 8 inches

clown knives get 3ft +

brown ghost knives get about 18inches

Which knife ? very important

most likely either

Clown knife ( silver with black spots but has only stripes when very young like 2''-3'')
full grown will be 30''-40''

African brown knife ( pretty much just brown )
8''-10'' but rarely can get 12''

black ghost knife ( black with wight on its mouth and tail )
will get around 18''-20''

clown knife (gold, and reg) get like 3 feet

bgk get 18" or 20"

Very important to tell what kind of knife you have

Depending on the Knife you have...anywhere from 8" to 40"
