I got a 75 gallon tank with Africans. I done treated it and did a 25% water change and I still got the problem. It just won't go away. But none of them died yet. So please help

I don't know much about the type of fish you have but I have had luck twice getting rid of ick with salt and raising the temp of tank with small freqant water changes. But you might want to check not all fish can stand large doses of salt and most live plants can't take the salt.

have you have carbon in , i dont know why the meds did not get rid of it,but iv never had to use meds i do same as countrygal, just up the temp to speed up the life cycle of ich and add salt to kill it, after that if you still have it you should be looking for the cause of it, but i really think you should give us as much info as poss on what changes if any you made leading up to the outbreak, rember stress is main cause of ich,

How old/long has tank been running? What fish are in it? Whats your temp at? What are your water parameters? What kind of filtration? How often water changes are done? Justin, if you want help we need info like this.

I lost my male convict this morning from ick. The female is still alive but doesn't look that great. Have put temp up to 30deg cell - 86def far. Will be doing 50% water change soon. Don't have any salt to put in.

This is my first ick experience. I'm gonna clean gravel when I do water change. Should I clean filter too? Will ick be in filter?
