I have a large veil koa angelfish and another large marble angelfish in a 46 Gallon comunity tank. They are the boss in this tank and has always been. They have laid the eggs on my thermometer. It's a small mass of wigglers. The marble one what I think is the the female is guarding the babies. I'm sure once free swimming they would get eaten by a ram or one of the other angelfish. I do have 2 cycled emptied tanks. One is a bare 10 gallon just running a sponge filter. The other is a 40 breeder just has 2 tetras which I can move filtered by a sponge filter and a power filter. Of course it would have to shut off.
Should I take the thermometer out and place it in the other tank then add the one guarding. thanks
