i have little white worms they look like small maggots on the glass of my tank i have a saltwater tank i know they are not flatworms and i dont know how to add pics so if anyone can help on either issue worms or posting pics would be greatly appreciated

thanks

They are usually harmless and smaller fish actually eat them....better filtration or more water changes.

yeah i keep my tank clean and the fish wont touch them i even tried to squish them and wipe them off the glass but i cant get rid of them if i knew how to post pics i would sho everyone what they are

How many fish do have and what's your filter system in this tank?

Don't put you hand in the tank!!! The larva are small enough to enter your body through you pores and will quickly enter your bloodstream and breed and grow.

Sike. Like it was said they are probably harmless. Did you recently introduce a new fish or plant?

i have a choclate chip star, trigger, snowflake eel 55 gallon with live rock and sand my filtration is a canister filter magnum 350 the tank has been established for about 6 months

Doesn't sound like to much for the filter but the presence of the worms is usually a sign that there is large bio load....How often do you do your water changes?
