camullanus or callumanus.. red spikey worms coming out of gravid female livebearers anus?

I found some info on the net . I have questions. Can these worms survive brackish/sea salt? :irked:

Does anybody have any experience with what I think my fish have?

Your fish has internal parasites, you need a proper med to treat this, as far as i know salt cannot treat such a parasite alone, anti internal parasite meds with a good dose of metranidazole(sp?) are good.

I might have 2 types of camallanus cotti ? worms
infesting my guppy, molly and endlers.

helpful link I found

I am upset that I can't find anyone on the net who has treated this successfully yet.

I will try to find more info. It is taking over my fish, spreading from tank to tank.

Every cure I hear of , I also hear that same cure/treatment doesnt work.
