i have bought 8 mystery snails and there shells have been like loosing color and looks like some have lost some layers in the shell.I know i need to add calcium but how,
They are in there with 2 Severums will adding calcium hurt the severums?
And How do i add the calcium?

Thanks,
Andy

Get a 7 day feeder. These have good amounts of calcium in them. I use the Nutrafin brand ones, and have good successes with them.

What about cuttleBones do they hurt the fish/

Freshwater snails use excessive amounts of calcium to form, and maintain their shells. Acidic water will eat away at their shells, and they will need more calcium to maintain their nice shells.

CC does 2 things... 1) provide calcium 2) buffer the water. Acidic water does more damage than low calcium levels. Liquid calcium I have found is only moderately usable.
