I was at my LFS and I picked up two interesting loaches. I don't know exactly what they are. I think the striped one is a Schistura Obeini. The second one was labeled as a yoyo, but i think it might be a Botia sp. aff. rostrata. Or it could just be a weird yoyo.

Also, i didn't notice until I got them home that the yoyo(or whatever it is) is very skinny. Does anyone think it might have that skinny disease? If so, will it infect my other fish?

First pic is indeed Botia almorhae, not Botia rostrata. A lot of loaches tend to be skinny but yoyos can pull through easily with plenty of bloodworm feedings.

Get a pic of a more settled Schistura. They're more troublesome to identify to be honest. Does look like Schistura obeini. Does it have yellow tint on the tail?

The tail doesn't appear to be yellow, but the little fishy is about 1.25" long. Will the color develop more as it matures?

Could be a discolored Red tail. They seem to be prominent right now. Get a pic when it's settled in.
