Hello guys,

been sometime not to post, i need help on id these peacock bass

I was on a trip to Japan 3 years ago and bought a batch of newly arrived rare peacock bass and with help friends of mine i shipped them back home.

i was told by the owner they are all Wild Pinima from different batch and different collection point.

as they grow big now they look a little bit different.
Are they different species? or they're same species but just from different point of collection?

all of them are 18 to 20 inch now..

the one in blue circle i confirm is Pinima, how about the one in red? could it be Jariina, Vazolleri or the other type?

it is very hard if not impossible to tell witch collection point of peacocks .... They are all pinima though and very nice at that ....You must trust your suppliers word as to where they came from only He / she knows for sure.....

I agree, they all look like pinima, just different collection points. My female looks exactly like the ones in the blue circles and I've seen a few confirmed pinimas that look like the ones in red.
I would also like to see an fts, looks like an incredible tank/pond!
