I think they might be Cherax quadricarinatus, i had one and they grow big. Do not put them in planted tank as they will tear it apart. Keep on eye on your heater cords as mine chewed it up. Make sure your tank is fully covered. If they can climb up, they like to get out of the tank.

Good luck and nice!

cherax quadricarinatus. looks like it MIGHT be a pair, notice one's claws are thinner. look at their claws. even at a relatively small size you should be able to see a transparent/orange/reddish patch on a males claws. for ones that are more blue like yours it will be almost see through at first and become orange as it matures. a 20g long is minimum in my opinion for 1 large sized one. for 2 you'd need a very big tank. you MIGHT try a 30 long if you have it crammed with a lot of hides but i think that is too small.

fwiw mine was about 7 inches from tail to rostrum and maybe 10 inches with claws after a year and a half when i had to sell him. after that they grow extremely slowly and won't get much bigger. it also may help to know they are tropical crayfish and don't handle anything below 55f well. 78-80f is nice for them.

Yeah, they are Cherax quadricarinatus or Blue Clawed Crayfish which are native to Australia.
