If it helps the lfs where i bought it called it a purple rose queen cichlid and there is no information on a purple rose queen. No, it is not a rose queen. Maybe a hybrid?

If they called it a purple rose queen its a flowerhorn.

I know, I'm stumped on what it is too. So I'm just going with a flowerhorn since he mentioned the store sold it as a purple rose queen.
