Just call it an assorted peacock. Doesn't look pure to me, especially with that stripe under the eyes.

Ifs its in a mixed tank chances are its mixed.Peacock are bad for cross breeding and it looks similar a juvie male Aulonocara (Rubescens) .

Thanks guys but from my understanding its not mixed the scoop is new people took over the store and when the old owner left he didn't label the tanks and there are lots of African cichlids of unknown kinds. These were nice looking to me so was thinking about getting him and the 5 females that are holding in his tank and see what happens but not really into mixed breeds. If I am able to get some better pics would it possible to ID for sure
