they are not hystrix they are orbigyni which are labeled as common hystrix in south america some are really nice but i have been cought out on lists and ended up with 12 of them!!!!!

Mmmmm? bit of a teaser that first picture,certainly not the Hystrix we all know and love as spotfin as pointed out already.It would be interesting to know the country of Orogin,if its Argentina then could that first picture be that of what the scientists are calling the "true"Hystrix,ive never seen an Orbignyi look quit like that,the mantle looks too high and it lacks the classic mask around the spiracle which is generally evident in Orbignyi......its interesting,not a patch on what we all call Hystrix though!
