synodontis eruptus. and a pretty cool one at that. Is he yours?
 
Btw did u mean Synodontis eupterus as in the Featherfin? I don't think it is that coz the face and body shape looks different.
 
look at the dorsal fin, if it is extremely long and has multiple streamer type fins, then i would say eupertus, if not, then im at a loss. looks like my featherfin... how long is he?

I hv a normal eupertus and this one definately does not hv extremely long and multiple streamer type fins.

Anyway it's 5" now

apparently, there are faint black spots on the dorsal, pelvic, anal and caudal fins of this specimen. anyone else have a better idea of what it is?
 
It looks to be an amelanistic Synodontis budgetti to me. I know it isn't S. euptera (dorsal fin proportion is way off, and the body shape isn't right either), and the head shape isn't right for S. angelica.
