help ID my fish!

I recently bought some fishes, and was told that they were bala sharks. I looked online for many pictures, but they do not look anything like bala sharks.

It may by hard to see in the pictures, my fishes have red ventral fins and tiny whiskers like in most catfish.

Help ID my fish, please.

To me it looks like a tinfoil barb...

@ JML1997- they are about 3 inches right now

@ I_got_no_idea- i thought they were tin barbs as well, but my fish have whiskers

Wow this is a hard one, looks like some species of masheer idk tbh.

1) it's not a catfish
2) it's not a tin foil barb
3) those "whiskers" are probably barbs

Edit: those are defiantly barbs and FYI tin foil barbs have them too, what rules a tin foil barb out is the body shape and pattern on the sides of the fish

Actually it kinda looks like a bleached out/faded young cigar shark
