I rescued 2 african cichlids from my cousins tank. When I came to pick them up they were in a 46g bow front with like 1/2 the water missing. Water levels were too low for the filters to even work :/ . I'm glad I was able to save them from a ****ty situation. I know one of them is an electric yellow lab, but not sure about this one. Currently I have them in a 10 gallon aquarium with a good amount of hiding spots. But I will be getting the 46 gallon tank from him within a week or so, need to make room/negotiate another setting up tank with the misses. I've kept fish for around 15 years but never had african cichlids, hoping the 46g will be my first african cichlid tank after i do a little more research on them.
