How big is it now? How big is your tank? Looks like it's already fairly big for your tank. They do grow over 3', so start thinking about where to house him.

Right now he is in my 80g long (6ft x 15in x 18in) I have a 125 but my gar are in there now amd I don't want any pleco's sucking on them. Eventually I'm building a 2500g plywood tank when I move into my forever home next year. I have 7 tanks up and running from 120g down to a 18g biocube. Hoping to consolidate all into that one divided in half.

I just measured hom and he is about 12.5" when my phone charges ill take a photo of him with a measuring device by him.

Ive hade him over 2 years now and he gets along with all the other fish in the tank including all 4 of the other pleco in the tank. Here is rhat picture next to some measuring tape.
The pleco is at an angle so it apears a little smaller than when I was able to measurw him on the glas. On the glas he looks to be 12.5 in
